When I first start car when cold rpm about 2,000 then when warms up it drops down but to 1100. then RPM goes up and down then stays at 1100 runs great but i can't idle to drop anyone got any ideas?

First check to see if there is enough coolant and make sure that all the air is out of the system...
then check the fast idle..it usually gets a bit dirty and requires cleaning and lubrication....should be better after

lol same happens to mine mornings on way to uni 2k then drops to 1k

someone said that the passage were the coolant temp sensor could be dirty or plugged making the coolant sensor not read right. The idle should be around 600 to 700 right?

We did some testing last night and we think the problem is in the Idle air control valve. I haven't been able to test it yet but i bet coolant isn't going threw it. Anyone got any suggestions hot to clean it out?

you can take off the throttle body and clean it orrr u can buy some intake manifold cleaner and spray it in. either way works

same thing happend to me and that is how i got rid of the problem.
